Welcome

Welcome!

I will try and keep this blog updated by posting a tip a week to two weeks in how I managed to study law full-time as well work full-time.  And not just working full-time but running a very busy multi-million $ business.  I also have a small family.

Here is my first tip for studying law in Brisbane.  Or anywhere else for that matter.

1.  Give up drinking.
You will find that going through a law degree sober is a hell of a lot easier then hung-over.  I did an IT degree back in the late 80s and I think I was pretty much hung-over and tired for the whole of that.

I'm not saying it will improve your grades, and it might, but things are a lot easier when you are not tired or stress.

Ok, well that was my first welcome post and my first great tip for being a totally responsible law student in Brisbane!

Especially there's nothing particularly contentious about facts or the play. But if the sentence is going to go over for another day or for centre assessment report or for other subjective ma

About

About me Hi, i'm a law student in Brisbane and without getting to involved I wanted to start a blog for brisbane law students, or any student really on some tips and tricks I have with respects to studying law. I love cricket, going to the courts, particularly Brisbane district courts and watching the lawyers in action. Please note, I do not post notes up here, rather some study tricks I have learnt along the way with respect to using 30 years of IT hacks. Likes I love cricket.  I have a net and a bowling machine in my back-yard and I practice every morning for about 20 minutes. I also love visiting the Albion Cricket Centre to practice there sometimes on a Friday night for an hour and go up against the better bowling machines that they have.
